At boy band SEVENTEEN's concert, fireworks used for stage effects fell into the stands, injuring two audience members. SEVENTEEN's agency said it would support the injured attendees' medical procedures and identify any additional damage.
Pledis Entertainment, the agency, said on the 14th that "during the final section of SEVENTEEN's world tour show held the day before, some of the special-effect sparks used fell toward the audience seating."
Due to the accident, two audience members whose injuries were confirmed on site received immediate treatment at a temporary clinic inside the venue and went home.
Regarding the cause of the accident, Pledis said, "Before the show, a specialist firm set safety distances and conducted repeated inspections, but we determined the situation occurred due to defects in some products."
Pledis added, "We will do our best to make audience safety the top priority and to create an even safer concert environment."
SEVENTEEN held its world tour "New_" (NEW_) at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium from 13th through today.
