The owner, A, 41, who wielded a weapon at a pizza shop in Gwanak District, Seoul, killing three people, has been arrested and detained.
After holding a pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant review) on the afternoon of the 12th for A, who is suspected of murder, Jeong Jae-uk, warrant judge at the Seoul Central District Court, issued an arrest warrant, citing a "risk of flight."
A is accused of fatally stabbing three people with a weapon from the kitchen on the 3rd at the pizza shop in Jowon-dong, Gwanak District, that A operated: B, 49, an employee of the franchise headquarters, and C, 60, and D, 32, interior contractors who are a father and daughter.
After the crime, A reportedly tried to take A's own life, was injured, and received inpatient treatment at a hospital for a week before being arrested by police immediately after being discharged on the 10th. A was said to have admitted to the charges during the police investigation.
