The Seoul city government said on the 11th that it will provide 21,000 bottles of 2-liter (L) bottled Arisu to Gangneung, Gangwon Province, which has entered restricted water supply due to drought. This support follows Aug. 20 (8,448 bottles) and Sept. 1 (17,000 bottles) and is the third.
The bottled Arisu provided by the Seoul city government is scheduled to be delivered to Gangneung in the afternoon that day.
Taking into account the drought situation in Gangneung, the Seoul city government plans to provide a total of 100,000 bottles of Arisu. According to the Seoul city government, the current stockpile of bottled Arisu is more than 150,000 bottles, including 30,000 2-liter bottles and 120,000 350-ml bottles.
Lee Hoe-seung, head of the Seoul Arisu Headquarters, said, "Based on 2 liters, more than 7,000 bottles of bottled Arisu can be produced per day, and sufficient quantities are secured in reserve," and added, "If necessary, after consultation, we will promptly provide additional supplies to Gangneung."
