Shin & Kim LLC (CEO Oh Jong-han) announced on the 8th that it has recruited Ji Cheol-ho, the former Vice Chairman of the Fair Trade Commission, as an advisor to the Shin & Kim Fair Trade Group.
Advisor Ji graduated from Korea University with a degree in public administration and obtained a master's degree in policy studies from Seoul National University, later passing the 29th National Administrative Exam. Ji entered public service starting as a Deputy Director in the Fair Trade Division of the Economic Planning Board and accumulated nearly 30 years of experience in the field of fair trade, serving in roles including at the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Fair Trade Commission, the Office of the President as Economic Secretary, and the Office for Regulatory Reform in the Prime Minister's Office.
In particular, during his time at the Fair Trade Commission, he held key positions in the field, including spokesperson, director of the Cartel Investigation Bureau, director of the Competition Policy Bureau, and director of the Corporate Cooperation Bureau. He also served as a standing commissioner before holding the position of 15th Vice Chairman of the Fair Trade Commission, equivalent to that of a Vice Minister, from 2018 to 2020.
Additionally, Advisor Ji worked as a standing auditor at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises, a special professor at Korea University's Institute for Future Growth, and as an advisor to the law firm Won, while also engaging in vigorous writing activities, including the publication of three professional books and dozens of papers and academic presentations.
