In particular, concentrated heavy rain of 20 to 30 mm per hour, with some areas exceeding 40 mm, is expected in the Jeolla region and western inland areas of Gyeongnam during the early morning hours. The Korea meteorological Administration noted, "Heavy rain falling in a short period of time could lead to safety accidents such as flooding or landslides," urging caution.
For the time being, temperatures are expected to be higher than usual (morning 18 to 22 degrees Celsius, daytime 26 to 30 degrees Celsius), and tropical nights may be observed mainly along the southern coast and on Jeju Island.
On the 2nd, the morning low is forecasted to be between 20 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high is expected to range from 28 to 33 degrees Celsius. The expected daytime high temperatures by region are 32 degrees in Seoul, 30 degrees in Incheon, 30 degrees in Gangneung, 30 degrees in Daejeon, 31 degrees in Gwangju, 32 degrees in Daegu, and 32 degrees in Busan.
The concentration of fine dust is expected to be 'good' to 'moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion. The wave heights at sea are expected to be 0.5 to 1.0 m in the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea.
The wave height in the inner waters (the open sea about 200 km from the coastline) is predicted to be 0.5 to 2.0 m in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.0 m in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 m in the South Sea.
