On Saturday, the 30th, showers are forecasted for most areas across the country. The central region will be mostly cloudy, while the southern region and Jeju Island will see occasional clouds.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, showers will fall from dawn to afternoon in the capital region, inland areas and mountains of Gangwon, and northern Chungnam. Rain is expected in the Chungcheong and Jeolla regions, western inland areas of Gyeongsang, and Jeju Island in the afternoon, while some areas in the eastern inland of Jeonnam and western inland of Gyeongnam may continue to experience showers until the evening.
The expected precipitation is ▲ 5-60 mm in Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, inland and mountain areas of Gangwon (with some places expecting over 80 mm in northern Seoul and Gyeonggi) ▲ 5-30 mm in Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk, Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, western inland areas of Gyeongbuk, and western inland areas of Gyeongnam ▲ 5-20 mm in Jeju Island.
From dawn to morning, heavy rain of around 30 mm per hour may pour down in the northern areas of Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, and central and northern inland areas of Gangwon, so caution should be taken to avoid safety accidents.
The morning low temperature is expected to be between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, while the daytime high temperature is projected to be between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius. With smooth atmospheric diffusion, fine dust levels across the country will be at the 'good' level.
The sea waves will be 0.5-1.0 m in the eastern and western coastal waters and 0.5 m in the southern coastal waters. In the distant offshore (approximately 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5-2.0 m in the East Sea and 0.5-1.0 m in the West and South Seas.
