Former Prime Minister Han Duck-soo declared total assets of 8.684466 billion won. This is approximately 15 million won less than the figure disclosed during the regular asset change public announcement in March, analyzed to be due to changes in land value and expenditure.
Among the retirees, former presidential secretary Lee Won-mo reported assets of 43.33883 billion won, an increase of over 3.5 billion won from before, making him the individual with the largest assets on this list. The factors contributing to the increase include the appreciation of non-listed shares owned by his spouse and the conversion of a housing subscription for an apartment in Yongsan-gu to ownership.
The spouse of the former secretary is the daughter of the chairman of a large oriental medicine hospital foundation, reportedly holding 20,000 shares each in Green Luxury Pharmaceutical and JSD One.
Former presidential secretary Hong Cheol-ho, who is also the founder of Goobne Chicken, reported an increase of over 3.9 billion won to 30.09140 billion won. The value of Plus One shares owned by him and his spouse rose by over 2.1 billion won, while the prices of land in the Goyang and Incheon Cheongna areas increased by a total of 1.7 billion won.
Former presidential policy secretary Sung Tae-yoon reported an increase of approximately 780 million won to 10.92289 billion won due to changes in apartment values and an increase in the retirement pension savings of his spouse.
The individual with the largest assets among current senior officials was Kwon I-kyun, the director of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM). He reportedly holds approximately 4.5 billion won in real estate, including an apartment he owns in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, as well as about 2.4 billion won in deposits, declaring a total of 7.32064 billion won.
Following him, former Kyongin National University president Kim Chang-won reported assets of 4.95542 billion won, including jointly owned townhouses with his spouse. The couple reportedly also owns shares worth over 200 million won and bitcoin valued at 80 million won.
Park Yeon-jin, director of the National Aviation Museum of Korea, reported assets of 3.353334 billion won, including an apartment in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, and virtual assets. Among these, the virtual assets alone were valued at 810 million won, and the building was approximately 3.4 billion won, with a debt of 1.3 billion won also noted.
