A threat to plant a bomb in a KT branch office was posted online, prompting police to launch an investigation.
The Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul reported that they received a report around 1 a.m. on the 26th about the bomb threat and are currently tracking the author of the post.
The author posted in the KT Wiz gallery on the online community DC Inside around midnight, with the title 'I lost several hundred million won due to KT's internet. I have nothing left to lose.'
The author reportedly wrote that he/she 'bought a homemade bomb on Telegram' and that he/she would 'go around each KT branch and blow up a bomb at noon.' The post has since been deleted.
Police plan to arrest the author once identified and charge him/her with public threats and other offenses.
