A soldier standing in a parking lot reserving a space has sparked controversy.
According to related industries on the 21st, the YouTube channel 'Dochamp's Black Box' disclosed a black box report video featuring this scene last month.
The video shows a man in military uniform standing at attention next to an empty space in a disabled parking area. The location where the video was filmed is reported to be a parking lot of an administrative welfare center in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.
When the reporter, looking for a parking spot, tried to reverse into the space where the soldier was standing, the soldier waved his hand as if to indicate parking was difficult.
As the reporter came to a stop while reversing, the soldier again waved one hand to express that he was reserving the parking spot.
Ultimately, the reporter noted he did not park here, saying, 'It looked like he was struggling in the hot weather, so I just passed by without an argument.'
The YouTuber pointed out, 'Shouldn't we be protecting the country rather than reserving parking spots?' adding, 'This is the first time I've seen a soldier reserving a spot.'
He also commented, 'I think it's probably because a superior's vehicle is coming, but let's not do this while wearing a military uniform with the Taegeuk mark.'
