A story about an elementary school student receiving over 1,000 'please move your car' calls has gone viral online after the owner of a foreign car wrote down someone else's number.
On the 21st, a post titled 'Elementary school student received 1,000 calls asking to move a car' was uploaded to the online community Bobae Dream.
The poster stated, 'Four car owners called requesting to move their vehicles, irritated because their cars were being blocked, after seeing the parked car that was blocking the rear space.'
After several attempts to reach the car owner who was not answering the phone, the poster reported, 'The voice sounded a bit strange. It was a child,' adding, 'This is a call asking to move the car, right? I will hand you over to my grandmother.'
In the phone call with the grandmother, the writer expressed feeling bewildered. He said, 'The grandmother said that the car owner always parks their car anywhere in situations like this and then writes down this phone number and leaves.' He noted, 'It seems like this phone number received around 1,000 calls for a long time, and the person using this number is an innocent second-grade elementary school girl.'
The inconsiderate car owner parked anywhere and left an unknown phone number as the contact. The grandmother also reported it to the police and was fully aware that the vehicle was a foreign car, according to the writer.
The writer said, 'I have reported similar cases to the police before,' and added, 'However, if it is not on the roadside but parked in someone else's dwellings, they said they cannot tow it away. It is so absurd and unfair.'
Internet users commented, 'There should be a law like in the U.S. that allows towing in cases of illegal parking on public or private property.' 'You must pour a bottle of fish sauce into the air vent under the windshield.' 'The only method left is to prevent the car from being moved until they beg and apologize.'
