The Ministry of Personnel Management announced the successful candidates for the 1st round of the national civil service level 7 open competitive examination, totaling 4,383, at the Cyber National Qualification Examination Center on the 19th.
This year's 1st round successful candidates total 4,383. This is a decrease of 194 from last year's 1st round successful candidates (4,577).
Of the successful candidates for this 1st round, 1,184 are from the scientific and technological field, while 3,199 are from the administrative field.
Among the main recruitment units in the administrative field, the passing score for the foreign affairs consul group was the highest at 93.33 points. Following this are general administration, personnel organization, and statistics, which scored 92 points. In the scientific and technological field, chemical engineering had the highest score at 93.33 points, followed by electrical (92 points), data (89.33 points), and general machinery (86.66 points).
By gender, males accounted for 59.8% (2,623), while females accounted for 40.2% (1,760). The average age of the successful candidates was 28.8 years, similar to last year's (28.9 years).
Meanwhile, the 2nd round examination is scheduled to take place in five regions nationwide: Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and Daejeon on September 20. For more details, refer to the Cyber National Qualification Examination Center.
