Initially, Kim's camp had attempted to postpone her appearance, citing scheduling issues for hospital treatment due to health concerns, but ultimately decided to attend as planned after a consultation with her attorney.
This investigation marks the second summons following the issuance of an arrest warrant based on concerns of evidence destruction. Kim Keon-hee complied with the first investigation after her detention on the 14th, arriving in handcuffs at the interrogation room set up at the KT Gwanghwamun Building West in Jongno District at 9:52 a.m., and completed the investigation at 2:10 p.m.
It is reported that attorneys Choi Ji-woo, Chae Myung-sung, and Yoo Jeong-hwa are all scheduled to be present during the investigation on the 18th.
