It was belatedly revealed that a 40-year-old actor, who attracted '10 million viewers', was reported for assaulting his wife at home, prompting police to respond.
According to police on the 14th, a report was received on the 24th of last month that actor Mr. A assaulted his wife at an apartment in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, in the afternoon. Mr. A was reportedly trying to leave the house after an argument with his wife, during which a struggle broke out as she attempted to stop him.
The police investigated Mr. A on charges of assault; however, since the wife did not wish to pursue punishment, the incident was classified as a family protection case rather than a criminal case.
A police official noted, "It is true that we responded to a domestic violence report, but as it is a family protection case, we cannot disclose specific details."
