Former President Yoon Suk-yeol reportedly emerged from the Seoul Detention Center on the morning of the 13th and returned to the detention center after receiving ophthalmology treatment at a university hospital.
On that day, Yoon's lawyer said in a phone call with ChosunBiz, "Former President Yoon visited Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, around 7:30 a.m. to receive ophthalmology treatment and then returned to the detention center."
Treatment at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital begins at 8:30 a.m. Former President Yoon visited the hospital earlier than other patients to receive treatment.
In this regard, a Ministry of Justice official noted, "The consultation time was arranged in agreement with the hospital to reduce inconvenience for other patients," adding, "It is not a special privilege."
