The salary statement of SK hynix has been disclosed, attracting attention online.
Recently, a salary statement from an SK hynix employee for January of this year was posted in an online community. The total amount paid was 56,898,587 won. After deducting various amounts such as the four major insurances and taxes amounting to 7,590,000 won, as well as savings and repayments totaling 1,030,000 won, the take-home pay amounted to 48,260,000 won.
Among this, the basic monthly salary is 5,803,000 won, which includes a base salary of 2,957,000 won, a fixed overtime allowance of 507,000 won, and a performance bonus of 2,339,000 won.
89% of the amount paid was for performance bonuses. The special performance bonus was 16,707,000 won, and the excess profit-sharing (PS) amounted to about 34,080,000 won. PS is a representative performance bonus system of SK hynix, paid once a year, allowing for up to 50% of the annual salary (1,000% of the base salary). The funding comes from 10% of the operating profit from the previous year.
Previously, SK hynix recorded its largest performance since its establishment with sales of 66.193 trillion won and operating profit of 23.4673 trillion won last year, thanks to the boom in high-bandwidth memory (HBM). In the second quarter of this year, it also set a record for the highest quarterly performance with sales of 22.232 trillion won and operating profit of 9.2129 trillion won.
