Eun-nam Ki, a former chief of public relations who served under the Park Geun-hye administration, passed away on the 11th at the age of 75.
The deceased, from Yeongam, Jeollanam-do, began his broadcasting career as an entertainment producer after joining TBC in 1974. In 1989, he planned and directed the 'Johnny Yoon Show,' which is considered the precursor to domestic talk shows, ushering in the era of talk shows. He subsequently served as president of SBS Media Holdings and was appointed chief of public relations at the Blue House in 2013. From 2014 to 2017, he was the president of KT Skylife.
He is survived by his wife, Ms. Park Hyun-ae, and two sons, with the funeral home set up at Samsung Seoul Hospital. The funeral will be held at 6 a.m. on the 13th.
