On Sunday, the 10th, the weather will be generally cloudy nationwide, with heavy rain expected, especially in the southern regions.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 9th, the expected rainfall over the next two days will be 50 to 100 mm in Gwangju and South Jeolla Province (with heavy rain expected along the South Jeolla coast at 150 mm or more, and more than 120 mm in the inland areas of Gwangju and South Jeolla), 20 to 60 mm in South Jeolla Province (with heavy rain expected at over 80 mm), and 10 to 50 mm in North Jeolla Province.
During the same period, Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang Province will receive 50 to 100 mm of rain (with some areas along the South Gyeongsang coast expecting over 150 mm), while Daegu and South Gyeongsang do will get 20 to 60 mm (with some areas expecting over 80 mm), and Ulleungdo and Dokdo will see 5 to 20 mm of rain.
Jeju will experience 30 to 100 mm of rain (with heavy rain over 120 mm expected in some areas).
In areas where it is raining, there may be gusts of wind along with thunder and lightning, so caution should be taken to prevent safety accidents.
On Sunday morning, the lowest temperatures will be between 19 and 25 degrees, while the highest daytime temperatures are forecasted to reach between 28 and 33 degrees.
The morning temperature in Seoul will start at 22 degrees, and Jeonju at 23 degrees. During the day, Seoul and Daejeon will reach 32 degrees, Gwangju and Daegu 31 degrees, and Busan 29 degrees.
However, with high humidity, the perceived temperature will feel muggy.
For the time being, temperatures will be similar to the average (lowest 21 to 25℃, highest 28 to 32℃). Some areas may experience tropical nights.
The sea waves will measure 0.5 to 2.0 m in the East Sea and West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.5 m in the South Sea coastal waters.
The wave height in the offshore waters (approximately 200 km from the coastline) is predicted to be 0.5 to 3.5 m in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.0 m in the West Sea, and 1.5 to 3.5 m in the South Sea.
