In a high-end apartment complex in Seocho-gu, Seoul, incidents of dumping feces in a women's sauna pool have occurred one after another, prompting an investigation by the apartment management.
According to the A Apartment community on the 7th, human feces were found four times in the women's sauna pool from the 22nd of last month to the 3rd of this month. The waste was discovered during the morning hours.
The A Apartment community warned in a notification, "We are currently investigating by securing records of sauna entry and exit times based on the time frame of the waste incidents," adding, "The suspect will be prohibited from entering the sauna in the future, and if caught, the individual will be banned from using the community and subject to claims for damages related to this matter."
This apartment, one of the most expensive in the country, has been embroiled in a series of controversies, including the theft of communal shampoo, a dispute over hiring a cleaner, and the suspension of dining services, prior to the sauna waste incident.
In particular, in April, shampoo and body wash provided in the sauna were stolen, leading to a complete suspension of toiletries. As a result, the residents' representative council decided to only provide soap and toothpaste.
