The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 6th that it will conduct regular personnel changes for teachers and education professionals, including principals and vice principals, effective September 1.
A total of 432 individuals are targeted for this personnel change: 44 in early childhood education, 167 in elementary education, 208 in secondary education, and 13 in special education.
The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education noted regarding this personnel change that it has emphasized "cooperative education that opens the future," as guided by Superintendent Jeong Geun-sik. It stated, "We have appointed individuals with capabilities in empathy and cooperation, communication skills with the community, and integrity."
Superintendent Jeong said, "I hope this personnel change will serve as a driving force for realizing cooperative education based on students' dreams, teachers' pride, and parents' trust. We will work together with the Seoul education community to achieve this."
