Shin & Kim LLC (CEO Oh Jong-han) announced on the 5th that it has recruited lawyer Yang Ju-yeol, who is recognized as an 'expert in labor law' (first test of the bar exam).
Shin & Kim aims to proactively respond to movements in the amendment of key labor-related laws and policy changes by bringing in lawyer Yang, who is regarded as a specialist in human resources and labor consulting and labor disputes, particularly in relation to the Yellow Envelope Act.
Lawyer Yang Ju-yeol graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies with a degree in law and obtained a master's degree and a doctoral degree in labor relations law from the same university's law graduate school. He is currently serving as an adjunct professor at the graduate school of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
Lawyer Yang is a former in-house attorney at Hyundai Motor's legal department. He is evaluated to have expertise and extensive practical experience in major manufacturing sectors such as automotive, parts, shipbuilding, and steel, based on a deep understanding of the field and practice. In particular, from 2019 to the present, he has handled numerous human resources and labor cases for major domestic corporations and public enterprises in the labor group at Yoon & Yang LLC. He dealt with issues related to illegal dispatches concerning in-house contracts of various corporations, issues related to ordinary wages, collective bargaining and unfair labor practices, as well as all areas of labor, including corporate personnel systems, human resource management, and compliance.
Additionally, lawyer Yang is establishing his position as a labor law expert who bridges both academic and practical fields by serving as a public member overseeing hearings at the Seoul Labor Relations Commission and as a member of the Labor Law Theory and Practice Society.
