The Ministry of Education will announce educational measures for medical students who refused to attend classes in protest against the medical school quota on the 25th.
The announcement from the Ministry of Education is expected to include plans for approximately 8,000 medical students who are subject to academic probation. It is reported that the deans and the president of the medical school have agreed to process these medical students according to the principles of academic probation but allow their readmission starting in the second semester in August.
Initially, the government planned to announce an educational plan for medical students with such content on the 24th but canceled it. This is said to be due to the failure to reach an agreement with universities regarding the timing of graduation for third-year students in the department.
