On the 23rd, the Seoul city government announced that it will provide a total of 400 million won in disaster relief funds to Gyeongnam and Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province, which were damaged by heavy rain. The relief funds will support 300 million won for Gyeongnam and 100 million won for Gapyeong County.
The relief funds delivered to each region will be used to assist in stabilizing the lives of disaster victims and to facilitate rapid recovery in the affected areas.
Following the recent heavy rain, the Seoul city government has decided to establish a task force (TF) for integrated support for disaster recovery and to provide necessary personnel and supplies to the affected areas.
Major support items include ▲ Operation of a contact system by region ▲ Bottled water, snacks, and other food and beverage items, as well as recovery supplies such as gloves and hand sanitizers ▲ Dispatch of volunteers.
Oh Se-hoon, the mayor of Seoul, noted, "We will swiftly implement the measures prepared for the recovery and support of the affected areas."
