On Saturday, the 19th, heavy rain will continue to pour in the southern regions.
On the 18th, the Korea Meteorological Administration observed that rain, which began the previous day, is expected to continue in the southern regions, potentially accumulating up to 400㎜.
The expected rainfall is estimated to be 150 to 300㎜ in Gwangju and Jeonnam (with some areas receiving more than 400㎜), and 100 to 200㎜ in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (with some areas receiving more than 300㎜).
Additionally, 50 to 150㎜ (with some areas receiving more than 200㎜) of rain is forecasted for the Chungcheong region (excluding Chungbuk), Jeonbuk, and Daegu and Gyeongbuk, while Chungbuk is expected to receive 50 to 100㎜ (with some areas more than 150㎜).
The Korea Meteorological Administration warned that heavy and intense rainfall in narrow areas could lead to landslides, soil erosion, and structural collapses, advising against the use of riverbank walkways and underpasses.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 22 and 25 degrees, while the daytime high temperatures are expected to reach 28 to 32 degrees. The concentration of fine dust will be at 'good' levels across all regions due to smooth atmospheric diffusion and the effects of rainfall.
