The Ministry of Education and the Korea Student Aid Foundation announced on the 14th that they will publicly recruit candidates for the 'Korea Talent Award' until August 20.
The Ministry of Education awards the Talent Award every year to individuals selected among youth aged 15 to 34. A total of 2,496 individuals received the award from 2001 to last year.
This year, around 100 individuals will be selected, including 40 high school students and youths and about 60 college students and young adults.

Recommendation letters for high school students and youths can be written by their school or supervising teacher. College students or young adults must submit recommendation letters written by their superior at their organization or professors from their final school. Recommendation letters must be submitted by mail by August 20.

Among the recipients, one person will receive the Prime Minister's Award, along with a certificate and a cash prize of 3 million won, while 99 recipients of the Minister of Education's Award will receive certificates and a cash prize of 2 million won. They will also have opportunities to participate in various activities related to projects organized by the Korea Student Aid Foundation.
