Yoon Jeong-woo, who broke into a residence on the sixth floor by climbing the gas pipes on the exterior of an apartment and killed the victim, has been indicted.
The Daegu District Prosecutor's Office, Western District, investigating the 'Daegu stalking-related female murder case,' detained and indicted the defendant Yoon Jeong-woo (48) on charges including violation of the Act on the Punishment of Specific Crimes (murder, etc. for retaliation) on the 3rd.
Yoon was indicted for killing the victim A (52, female) by invading her residence through the gas pipes for the purpose of retaliation after the victim reported the crime at around 2:50 a.m. on June 10.
He was also charged with threatening the victim with a weapon after seeing her cell phone ring due to a call from another man, as well as threatening to take photos of the victim's body with her phone and distribute them, and driving approximately 360 km without a license.
According to the prosecution, Yoon attempted to control the victim, with whom he was in a relationship, by providing living expenses and preventing her from engaging in professional activities. When the victim, refusing this, notified him of their breakup and blocked all contact, it was reported that his strong obsession with the victim manifested in crimes such as special threats and stalking.
According to the prosecution, Yoon expressed his anger to acquaintances, stating that he would kill the victim, frequently visited the vicinity of the victim's apartment, filmed the exterior wall where the gas pipes were installed, and thoroughly planned the crime.
