With the wedding of President Lee Jae-myung's son, Dong-ho, reportedly set to take place this weekend, a written threat related to the wedding has surfaced online, prompting police to begin tracking down the author.
The Seoul Seongbuk Police Station reported on the 10th that it had received a tip stating that a post on social media (SNS) included content threatening President Lee's family and had launched an investigation the previous afternoon.
The SNS post received by the police was categorized under the theme 'eradicate in one blow.' It reportedly mentioned the date and time of the ceremony along with a map photo of the venue rumored to be where Dong-ho's wedding would be held, stating, "I could catch the license plate numbers of entering vehicles."
Police plan to track down the author and investigate the circumstances surrounding the post.
