Law Firm DaeRyuAju (CEO Attorney Lee Kyu-cheol) will hold a webinar on 'Corporations' response and limitations during search and seizure' at 2 p.m. on the 28th.
This webinar is conducted by the DaeRyuAju C&C (Criminal and Compliance) group. It is designed to help corporations and legal representatives respond quickly based on their legal rights when investigative agencies arrive unannounced to conduct a search and seizure. It also aims to identify the difficulties corporations face when responding to search and seizure operations and provide countermeasures.
The moderator for the webinar will be Kim Dong-joo (26th Judicial Research and Training Institute), head of the DaeRyuAju Search and Seizure Response Center. Attorney Kim has served as the chief prosecutor of the Sokcho, Busan Western, and Pohang District Prosecutors' Offices, as well as the deputy chief prosecutor of the Busan Western District Prosecutors' Office. Additionally, lawyers with practical experience from the prosecution, police, and the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials will present suitable countermeasures.
Panelists will include Attorney Jeong Yu-ri (35th). Attorney Jeong has nearly 20 years of experience as a prosecutor, specializing in corporate economic crime investigations. Another panelist, Attorney Yoon Sang-hyuk (4th Bar Examination), has conducted corruption and election investigations while serving as a prosecutor in the CIO. Attorney Lim Mi-ha (6th Bar Examination) has worked in the police for 20 years, gaining experience in various investigation departments. Attorney Hong Min-woo (40th) holds a master's degree in forensics.
Meanwhile, the DaeRyuAju Search and Seizure Response Center participates from the stage when the search and seizure agency enters the corporation. On-site, it checks the legality of the procedures and methods, including confirmation of search and seizure warrants. It also engages in the forensic procedures of digital electronic information, performing professional and systematic response tasks at every stage of the search and seizure process.
