Actress Go Min-si's agency stated that allegations of school violence raised in an online community are "clearly false."
On the 26th, Min-si's agency, Mystic Story, issued a statement saying "(the school violence allegations are) clearly false and unfounded," adding, "We have appointed legal counsel today and have begun reviewing and proceeding with legal action, both civil and criminal."
Earlier that day, a post titled "We are the school violence victims of actor Go 00" appeared in an online community.
The post included content stating that "Go 00 has committed school violence, extortion, verbal abuse, and ridicule and threats against students with disabilities since middle school" among other things.
Though the author did not specify the actor's name, they revealed Go Min-si's name before her legal name change and her age, leading netizens to identify her as the subject of the allegations.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time allegations against Min-si have been made. In March 2021, a photo of her drinking as a minor was leaked, sparking controversy. At the time, Min-si acknowledged on her personal social media (SNS) that she recognized her past actions were inappropriate and that she feels a sense of responsibility for her previous behavior.
