Law firm BKL(Bae, Kim & Lee) announced on the 14th that it has recruited former Vice Minister of Employment and Labor Park Hwa-jin as an advisor.
Advisor Park graduated from the Department of Sociology at Seoul National University and passed the 34th national administrative examination in 1990. He served in various positions at the Ministry of Employment and Labor, including Director of the Labor Standards Bureau, Director of Labor-Management Cooperation Policy, Director of Industrial Accident Prevention and Compensation Policy, and Permanent Commissioner of the Central Labor Relations Commission, and he served as Vice Minister of Employment and Labor from 2020 to 2022 during the Moon Jae-in administration.
Advisor Park Hwa-jin will provide consulting on personnel and labor management related to wages, working hours, collective bargaining, as well as on response and prevention of major industrial accidents within BKL's Human Resources and Labor Group and Major Industrial Accident Response Headquarters.
Lee Jun-ki, the representative lawyer of BKL, noted, "We will swiftly and accurately grasp the flow of policies and regulations to prevent client risks in advance and provide more comprehensive legal services."
BKL's Major Industrial Accident Response Headquarters operates a 'comprehensive control room' system, which is the first of its kind at a domestic law firm, working 24 hours to block corporate management risks and facilitate early recovery.
