A 'presidential acting support group' to assist Acting President and Minister of Education Lee Joo-ho's national affairs will be formed and operated.
The Ministry of Education said on the 2nd that it will form and operate a support group for the acting role, led by Deputy Minister Kim Young-gon.
The support group will be composed of six teams: ▲ Planning and Coordination Team (Director General for Policy Planning of the Ministry of Education) ▲ Schedule Management Team (Secretary to the Vice Minister of Education) ▲ Diplomacy and Security Team (Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) ▲ Disaster and Public Safety Team (Director General of the Prime Minister's Office) ▲ Livelihood and Economy Team (Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance).
The Ministry of Education noted, "We will do our best to ensure stable national operations without any gaps or chaos as government ministries unite in their approach."
