According to the legal community on the 29th, two companies that had advertising contracts with Kim Soo-hyun recently filed lawsuits for the return of model fees and damages against Kim Soo-hyun and his agency, Gold Medalist. The companies are reported to have sought the return of all or part of the model fees paid by terminating the advertising contracts and claimed damages or penalties due to the inability to proceed with the advertisements.
The amount in the lawsuits is said to range from 400 million won to 1.3 billion won for each company. Gold Medalist has stated that it has not yet confirmed the specific amounts involved in the lawsuits, but there is a possibility that other companies may also pursue legal action.
Previously, the YouTube channel "Garosero Research Institute" claimed that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron for six years since 2015, citing a conversation with Kim Sae-ron's family. At that time, Kim Sae-ron was 15 years old. Kim Soo-hyun refuted this, confirming he had dated Kim Sae-ron but stated they were in a relationship from the summer of 2019 to autumn 2020, after she became an adult.
