Police conducted a search and seizure of the installation company related to the external wall structure collapse fatal accident that occurred at Gyeongnam Changwon NC Park.
According to the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency and others, police executed a search warrant at one construction company from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 25th, deploying about 10 investigators. The police plan to identify the cause of the accident based on the construction-related materials secured this time.
Police are also investigating whether there was negligence in duty and violation of the Serious Accident Punishment Act among facility-related personnel and those in charge.
On the 29th of last month, an accident occurred at Changwon NC Park when one external wall structure called "louver" fell, injuring three baseball fans. One victim died while undergoing treatment. The louver is an aluminum structure measuring 2.6 m in length, 40 cm in width, and weighing about 60 kg.
