George Mason University Korea Campus announced on the 21st that on the 19th, as part of the 'Mason Care Program' aimed at making a positive impact in the community, it conducted a plogging marine environmental protection activity at Mashian Beach on Yeongjongdo in Incheon.
The event, which involved faculty and students from George Mason University Korea Campus and the University of Utah Asia Campus, is regularly held at beaches in the Incheon area, where students and faculty voluntarily participate to continue practices for a sustainable future.
Joshua Park, representative of George Mason University Korea Campus, noted, "We plan to continuously expand various environmental and social contribution activities, including plogging, marine purification, educational support, and building houses."
George Mason University Korea Campus is an extension campus of George Mason University located in Fairfax, Virginia, near Washington, D.C.
