A person in their 50s who is accused of murdering their husband, a famous real estate instructor, has been indicted.
According to the legal community on the 21st, the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office Pyeongtaek Branch Criminal Division 1 (Director General Hwang Soo-yeon) has indicted A (55) on murder charges.
A is accused of killing their husband, B, by repeatedly striking his head with a liquor bottle while he was lying on the floor in their apartment's living room around 3 a.m. on February 15th.
A is reported to claim that they acted impulsively during a domestic dispute when their husband threatened them with a kitchen knife. However, the prosecution has determined, based on forensic consultation, that the husband was attacked while lying down with his head touching one side of the floor.
The prosecution also identified the motives for the crime through additional analysis of the electronic data from A's seized mobile phone, pointing to circumstances regarding the husband's request for divorce and A's suspicions about the husband's infidelity.
Husband B is known to have worked as a famous real estate instructor.
