The accident occurred on the 11th at approximately 3:13 p.m. when the construction site of the underground tunnel at section 5-2 of the double-track Shin-Ansan Line in Iljik-dong, Gwangmyeong, and the upper road collapsed.
Mr. A, who was reported missing immediately after the accident, was found dead at a depth of 21 meters underground at the accident site on the 16th at approximately 8:03 p.m., about 125 hours later. The police have formed a dedicated investigation team to investigate the cause of the accident.
