Nearby Apgujeong Station in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, the road has sunk, partially controlling traffic in the area.
According to the city of Seoul, on the 16th, a road subsidence occurred in front of exit 4 at Apgujeong Station on Subway Line 3. Due to this incident, traffic has been controlled on some sections of Nonhyeon-ro toward Gangnam Uljib Hospital from Apgujeong Station since 4:50 p.m. that day.
A fire department official noted, 'The road has sunk approximately to the level of a finger joint,' adding that there has been no reported damage so far.
A road has also subsided in front of exit 6 at Dolgok Station on Subway Line 6 in Seongbuk District, Seoul. As a result of this incident, traffic has been partially controlled on Dolgok-i Road toward Dolgok Station from Saemaul Geumgo in Seongbuk District since 4:53 p.m. that day.
A Seongbuk District official said, 'The road has subsided about 3 centimeters,' adding that there has been no reported damage so far.
