It has been reported that Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon resumed normal work on the 14th after announcing that he would not run for president.

On this day, Mayor Oh went to his office in the city hall in the morning, presided over an executive meeting, and received reports on internal issues. He is said to be attending the opening ceremony of the 330th Seoul Metropolitan Council temporary session on the 15th.

Mayor Oh had previously indicated his intention to preside over city meetings even while competing in the ruling People Power Party's presidential primary.

It has been reported that civil-service executives who had submitted their resignations ahead of Mayor Oh's presidential candidacy, including Vice Mayor for Political Affairs Kim Byeong-min, Special Advisor for Civil Communication Lee Jong-hyun, Special Advisor Park Chan-goo, and Vision Strategy Advisor Lee Ji-hyun, have returned to work.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party of Korea's Seoul chapter and the Special Committee for New Seoul were planning to hold a discussion titled "What is the problem with Mayor Oh Se-hoon's exhibitionist administration?" at the National Assembly Member's Office Building on the 15th, but they canceled the event following Mayor Oh's announcement not to run.
