Former President Yoon Seok-yeol is returning to the Acrovista apartment in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 11th, after leaving the presidential residence in Hannam-dong. This marks 2 years and 5 months since former President Yoon moved into the residence in November 2022. A banner welcoming the former president and his wife was displayed, but some residents expressed concerns that they would suffer from noise due to gatherings and protests, and that security would worsen their living conditions.

Around noon on that day, a banner stating “Thank you for your hard work, Mr. President and Mrs. President” was hung on the exterior wall of the Acrovista apartment building, under the name of the ‘12th Tenant Representatives’ association. Across from the main entrance of the apartment, there was also a banner reading “Yoon Again,” which supporters of former President Yoon recently began to use. There was also a noise meter brought by the police to manage gatherings.

Around 1:20 p.m., 20 congratulatory flower arrangements sent by supporters of former President Yoon were delivered on a truck. When the delivery driver attempted to unload one of them, progressive YouTubers gathered and protested, saying, “Why are you bringing congratulatory wreaths for a ousted president?” Eventually, the police intervened and returned one wreath that had been unloaded back to the truck.

The wreaths had the phrase “Yoonism will not stop” written on them. This appears to be a combination of former President Yoon's surname and the term ism, indicating ideology or attention. A similar coined term is Trumpism, which refers to the thoughts and tendencies of U.S. President Donald Trump and his supporters.

Although former President Yoon has been ousted, he will be able to receive security from the Presidential Security Service for the next 10 years. Before moving to the Hannam-dong residence in November of the same year after being elected in March 2022, residents of Acrovista experienced inconveniences due to security. It is expected that protests with progressive and conservative tendencies will occur daily in the future, which may lead to noise disturbances.

The security guard at Acrovista was blocking outsiders from entering in front of the entrance. The side door leading to the apartment commercial area was also closed starting at 9:30 a.m. Around 1 p.m., a resident who was taking a walk with a dog sighed and muttered to themselves upon seeing the YouTubers and protesters, saying, “It’s already started.” Two women expressed concern, saying, “What about my child’s academy bus? What if traffic gets blocked because of this?”

Around 1 p.m., about 50 supporters of former President Yoon were scattered in front of the Hannam-dong residence. They were occupying one lane on the right side of Hannam-daero for about 240 meters, but were not holding a gathering. They held signs saying “YOON AGAIN,” “Dissolve the Democratic Party,” and “Abolish early voting.” There was some commotion as YouTubers exchanged insults, but there were no major clashes.
