The police said on the 7th regarding the case of the son of People Power Party Representative Lee Cheol-kyu, who is under suspicion of attempting to find liquid marijuana, "We plan to continue the investigation based on the results once the entire detailed examination results are released."
Park Hyun-soo, acting chief of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, stated at a press briefing that day, "Since it is an ongoing investigation, we cannot disclose everything, but the entire detailed examination results have not yet been released."
The 30-year-old individual, identified as the son of Representative Lee, is suspected of attempting to find liquid marijuana in a residential area in Seocho-gu, Seoul, last October. He is reportedly investigated for attempting to take drugs using a so-called "throwing" method, where he would go to retrieve drugs thrown to specific locations or people.
At the time he was searching for liquid marijuana, he was with his wife and another individual, totaling three people in a rental car. The police booked four individuals, including Lee, his wife, a passenger, and the suspect who provided marijuana. They also requested detailed examinations of their urine and hair at the National Forensic Service.
