The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 3rd that it has selected "Strong Money," "Sports Class Vouchers," and "Monthly Health Information" as recommended public services for April.
The ministry introduces services that citizens can effectively utilize at different times throughout the year from the government's offerings each month.
"Strong Money" is a service that allows citizens aged 4 and older to use points earned after participating in sports activities for purchasing sports equipment, registering for facilities, or utilizing hospitals and pharmacies. After registering on the National Fitness 100 website, participants can exercise at designated 73 sports facilities, such as National Fitness Certification Centers or designated accumulation facilities, to earn up to 50,000 won in points per person annually.
"Sports Class Vouchers" provide support for exercise program enrollment fees for vulnerable youth and adolescents (ages 5-18) and individuals with disabilities (ages 5-69). Vulnerable youth and adolescents can receive up to 105,000 won per month for a maximum of 12 months, while individuals with disabilities can get 110,000 won per month. Applications can be made at the Sports Class Vouchers website or regional administrative welfare centers.
"Monthly Health Information" is a publication containing health information and practical methods. It is issued on the third Wednesday of each month. Users can access it by simply entering their email in the health information subscription application on the National Health Information Portal website.
Lee Yong-seok, head of the Digital Government Innovation Office at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, noted, "We will continue to do our utmost to enhance the quality of life for citizens through innovations in public services."
