The Ministry of Personnel Innovation announced on the 1st that it will hold an open recruitment for public positions in April.
This open recruitment targets five positions across five ministries: two high-ranking public officials including the director of the National Gongju Hospital under the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Inspector General of the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups, along with three Director-level positions including the head of the Insurance Risk Management Division at Korea Post, the head of the Environmental Energy Research Division at the National Institute of Environmental Research, and the head of the Transportation Economy Division at the Metropolitan Transport Commission.
Open positions are those deemed necessary by the Ministry of Personnel for the establishment of effective policies or requiring expertise. Candidates will be selected from both inside and outside the public sector.
In this recruitment, only private experts can apply for the three Director-level positions.
Kim Su-ran, head of the open exchange division at the Ministry of Personnel, noted, "I hope to see many talented individuals with rich experience and professional capabilities show interest and participate."
