The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 30th that it, along with the Seoul City Autonomous Police Committee, will accept citizen feedback on traffic facility improvements from the 1st of next month until May 30.

Any citizen can report inconvenient points regarding traffic facilities and signal systems on local streets and main roads via phone, written report, or the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency website.

Once reports are received, urgent issues or those that do not require budget allocation will be improved immediately starting in May, while matters with significant traffic impact or that require separate design will go through consultations with relevant agencies and traffic safety review, with completion expected by the end of October.

A 'Neighborhood Traffic Improvement Committee' composed of police officers, district office staff, and local residents will participate in on-site inspections and developing improvement plans. This will ensure that resident opinions, which are well informed about local characteristics, are faithfully reflected in the improvements.
