A woman who had been threatening and insulting actress Han Ji-min (42) on social networking services (SNS) was handed over to prosecutors.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on the 28th that a woman in her 30s, referred to as A, was sent to prosecutors on charges of threatening and insulting Han Ji-min.
A is accused of posting 19 insulting or threatening messages on her Instagram account between September and October of last year, stating that she would "disrupt the movie in which Han Ji-min appears." It is reported that A tagged Han Ji-min and even tagged Han Ji-min's acquaintances in the insulting and threatening posts she wrote.
The police identified A through international cooperation after receiving a complaint from Han Ji-min's agency on October 25th last year.
