According to the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Public Prosecutors' Office, the person who reported the largest assets among high-ranking officials as of the end of last year was Byun Pil-gun, Deputy Minister for Planning and Coordination. Deputy Minister Byun said he holds assets worth 47.76 billion won. Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung reported assets of 12.1 billion won, while Minister Park Sung-jae reported 2.8 billion won.

According to the '2025 regular asset change report for high-ranking officials' released by the Government Employee Ethics Commission on the 27th, the average assets of 51 disclosure subjects from the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Public Prosecutors' Office was 3.66 billion won, an increase of 70 million won from the previous year.

Deputy Minister Byun, who ranked first in asset reporting, declared 47.76 billion won based on last year, which is an increase of 3.88 billion won from the previous year. Deputy Minister Byun and his family stated they own buildings worth 12.62 billion won and land worth 1.46 billion won. Additionally, they also hold 7.86 billion won worth of listed and unlisted stocks, deposits worth 3.25 billion won, and artwork worth 1.53 billion won.

Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung reported assets worth 12.1 billion won, the second highest after Deputy Minister Byun. His assets increased by 3.76 billion won from the previous year. The increase in assets was attributed to deposits inherited additionally from his spouse's father and the rise in stock prices of foreign stocks like Nvidia purchased with existing deposits.

Minister Park Sung-jae reported assets worth 2.75 billion won, a decrease of 1.2 billion won. The decrease in assets was due to the diminished value of the land and automobile he owns and the expenditure of some deposits for living expenses, Minister Park noted. He also reported that his eldest son received cryptocurrencies Doni Finance (0.57170688), Ripple (0.00000094), and Vittor Token (38.2409851) as an airdrop event.

Lee Chang-soo, the chief prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, reported assets worth 4.37 billion won, an increase of 790 million won. The increase in assets was attributed to the rise in the value of his apartment and an increase in deposits due to savings.

Yang Seok-jo, the chief prosecutor of the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office, reported assets of 3.6 billion won, an increase of 85 million won. Kim Sun-hwa, the chief prosecutor of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, reported assets of 2.3 billion won, a decrease of 370 million won. Shin Eung-seok, the chief prosecutor of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office, reported assets of 1.6 billion won, an increase of 90 million won. Jung Jin-woo, the chief prosecutor of the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office, reported assets of 2.1 billion won, an increase of 300 million won.

Oh Dong-woon, the head of the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials, reported assets worth 3.43 billion won, an increase of 60 million won. Oh noted that his eldest daughter acquired a pre-sale right for an apartment in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, valued at 370 million won. He also stated that he holds cryptocurrencies SoloGenic (41.06515655) and Xcore (28.09521623), which, due to market declines, became worthless.
