The North Gyeongsang Provincial Police Agency announced on the 25th that it would respond to the wildfire spreading in the northern Gyeongbuk region by declaring a disaster emergency "level 1".
The declaration time is from 6 p.m. on the same day until further orders are issued. The emergency duty targets are police stations under the North Gyeongsang Provincial Police Agency, excluding the Ulleung Police Station.
This is the first time a "level 1" emergency order has been issued due to a disaster in Gyeongbuk.
