According to the legal community on the 20th, the Criminal Division of the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office has filed a summary indictment against Jeong Mo, a former representative of the YouTube channel Open Communication TV, for violating the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation) and imposed a fine of 7 million won on the 14th.

A summary indictment involves requesting the court for a summary order to impose fines or penalties through written proceedings without going through a formal trial.

Earlier, regarding Lee's donation of 50 million won to the Syngman Rhee Foundation for the establishment of the Syngman Rhee Memorial Hall in September 2023, Open Communication TV reported that "Lee Young-ae's donation is linked to President Yoon and his spouse," which was claimed to be false information, leading Lee to file a complaint against Jeong at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul.

Subsequently, the case was transferred to the Yangju Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, where a decision was made not to prosecute, but it was referred to the prosecution following an objection from Lee's side.
