Man injures self with scissors on train to Chungmuro Station in Seoul

On the afternoon of the 11th, a man identified as A injured himself with a weapon inside a train heading to Chungmuro Station on Seoul Metro Line 4.

According to the police, A was on a train heading to Dangogae when he stabbed his abdomen with scissors around 4:06 p.m. in the section between Myeongdong Station and Chungmuro Station.

A citizen on the train who witnessed the incident called for help, prompting police and firefighters to respond and provide emergency assistance. A was then reportedly transported to a hospital. The police noted, "A did not stab deeply, so he was not seriously injured."
