The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 7th that it will urgently provide 300 million won in disaster safety special grants to Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, which suffered damage from an air force fighter jet accident on the 6th.
This support was decided to facilitate swift emergency recovery in the affected area. The allocated disaster safety special grants will be used for emergency relief such as temporary housing and psychological support for residents affected by the bombing mishap, as well as safety assessment expenses and debris removal for damaged facilities.
The acting Minister of the Interior and Safety said, "We will spare no necessary support to minimize the inconvenience for affected residents and to help stabilize the impacted area as soon as possible."
