The law firm Lee & Ko (lead attorney Kim Sang-gon) appointed Moon Ho-jun (27th Judicial Research and Training Institute) as the representative of the corporations advisory group. Sung Chang-ho and Woo Dong-seok were elected as new operating committee members. Their term begins on the 1st of next month and lasts for three years.
On the 26th, Lee & Ko held a meeting with all members the previous day and announced the appointments of Representative Moon, Sung Chang-ho, and Woo Dong-seok as operating committee members. Representative Moon graduated from the law school of Seoul National University and joined Lee & Ko in 2001. He has broadly handled tasks in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate governance, foreign investment, anti-corruption and compliance, and hostile M&A.
Lee & Ko's operating committee consists of six members in total. New committee member Sung Chang-ho (25th) graduated from Seoul National University's law school and served as a judge for 24 years. He has held positions including Personnel Review Officer at the Supreme Court Administration, Chief Judge in the Chief Justice's Secretariat, and Presiding Judge at the Seoul Central District Court. He joined Lee & Ko in 2023.
Another new operating committee member Woo Dong-seok (30th) graduated from Seoul National University's law school and joined Lee & Ko in 2004. He has handled investment banking and real estate for 22 years and has also achieved results in the field of overseas investment.
