Seven individuals, accused of participating in the violent incident at the Seoul Western District Court, have been additionally indicted. To date, a total of 70 people have been prosecuted in connection with the Western District Court, according to the prosecution.
The Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office stated on the 26th that three individuals were arrested and indicted on the 20th, and four individuals on the 21st for charges including breaking and entering of special buildings. They are accused of participating in the riot, including storming the Seoul Western District Court building on the 19th of last month.
Yoon, a special evangelist at Sarang Jeil Church led by Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon, was also arrested and indicted on the 21st. Yoon was captured on video at the scene saying, "If you are a supporter of Yoon Suk-yeol, fight together. If this continues, President Yoon will die right away." Yoon has been under investigation in custody since being arrested at the Mapo Police Station on the 3rd.
Earlier, on the 10th of last month, the prosecution arrested and indicted 62 individuals, including evangelist Lee, for charges including participation in the riot at the Western District Court, and indicted one person without detention. Their first trial is scheduled to be held on the 10th of next month at the Seoul Western District Court.
